Here’s another way to reap the benefits of this amazing root…brew it as a tea!!!
Turmeric tea is not for everyone..the taste can be rather strong and unappealing until you find the perfect recipe..but the benefits are endless. Turmeric has anti inflammatory.. antibacterial..detoxifying properties.
It can also give your metabolism a boost and help burn fat. 😀
It can calm and soothe your stomach…help build up immunity.
There are a million recipes for Tumeric Tea….find the one that works for you 😉
Here’s a recipe I use and is so delicious :
For 1 serving:
- 1 tsp. Turmeric
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- dash of Clove
- dash of Nutmeg
- 1 tsp. Ginger
- Squeeze of Raw Honey
- 2 cups of Water
- Lemon slices..optional
- Simmer ingredients together…except honey…in a saucepan for 15-20 mins. Strain..add honey to taste & enjoy!
For a creamier tea…add Almond or Coconut Milk to taste.
